Hello and welcome to this page.
This is the new blog for danish band Paper Sessions.
For the past we have had our official blog at the danish smartlog blogsite, but we have chosen to go public on Blogspot now.
We are four members in this band: Simon Heggum who writes the music and lyrics, sing and plays guitar and keyboards, Rasmus Drabe who plays guitar, Mikael Jensen on bass and Felix Suneson on the drums.
We have made one record and two EP's in the distant time. The first one is the record "Goodnight Sunrise" - a cold, electronic conceptrecord describing the loss of another human, loved one or any senses at all. This was released on BSBTA Records in 2010. Later that year we released the first EP "Slight Return" - a more loose record about autumn, big feelings and beauty. These records can be downloaded from our Bandcamp.
This month we have released a new EP with the name "The Evil in You".
This is a concept EP on the human concept of the term evil. Why do we need it? How do we need it? and what does it mean to our lifes in these modern days? 6 songs explores topics such as: lust, fear, violence, hate, revenge and morals.
The record was mostly recorded by leadsinger Simon Heggum inbetween workdays as a teacher, but later this year all of Paper Sessions will be in the studio to record our first full-band EP. As an end to this loose trilogy of EP's and a kick-start to the next major album we will release.
